Italian who moved to Britain and immediately understood why the Empire collapsed. Used to chain-smoke and down 10 espressos a day. Quit. Begged someone I loved to do the same. Every Christmas, birthday, and every day ending in y in between. She didn't. Now I drink Lady Grey and ginger-turmeric-something like a proper Brit. Still down the espresso though — I'm not a traitor. Failed startup. Succeeded at other things. Lost people. Found myself. Some posts here are funny. Some less so.

Just launched

The site is live. I'm still testing things — expect rough edges.

polymatto.com is up! This is the first real deploy: static site, themes, blog, Easter eggs, bugs, the whole lot.

I'm testing things out as I go. Layouts may shift, posts may appear and disappear, and something will probably break at least once. That's the point of a homestead: you fix it.
